As most of you are aware, the track is being resurfaced this summer. We are excited for our teams to benefit from the outcome of this project which is replacing the original surface.

Unfortunately despite the facility being locked, someone has stepped on the track each of the last three nights. This has already delayed the project. Further damage in the coming week(s) will impact our ability to start fall sports on time on August 5 in addition to causing additional costs.

Please help our school athletic teams and the community by not stepping foot onto the track or field while it is closed. Also, if you see anyone trying to gain access to the facility or on the 2track/field, please call the non-emergency police number (703-558-2222) or the Parks and Recreation Rover at 571-238-0265.
